This week's assignment was really fun for me. I love creating storyboards and here I have posted two of my favorite trends. They're both very different but both represent two different sides of my personality.

I am a huge animal print fanatic and this trend is so sophisticated. It has a much more toned down color palette and an elegant touch to it. |
Okay, first let me just say that I LOVE the backround of your blog! The lips are super cute. Well I love both of your trend boards, especially because they're so different. I think the most successful one is the Neon board. I love all the bright colors and all your eclectic images. I also love how that one picture of the shoes is sideways. :)
ReplyDeleteNice job -- I'm not sure that I will ever tire of the animal print and it is very marketable too! The neons are nice too-- but my preference is the Eye of the Cheetah!
ReplyDeleteA Splash of Neon. I love it! I think you did a really good job of including a lot of good images representing the textures and ways of implementing the colors.
ReplyDeleteI really love the first story board. The neutral colors are very flattering on any figure and the silhouettes are very chic. I mostly love the contrasting textures you chose. Excited to see your flats.
ReplyDeleteI'm liking "Eye of the Cheetah" the best. I like the neutrals with prints and the colors and silhouettes i think are suited toward a larger market than the neon.
ReplyDeleteEye of the Cheetah made me giggle (the title, not the board). How does animal print stay so relevant for so long? I have no idea, but I like your approach to it- especially the beaded texture you featured
ReplyDeleteI love Eye of the Cheetah. The neutral tones and the silhouettes you chose look good on everyone. I also like how the silhouettes are so elegant but the prints and different textures give a little edge to them.
ReplyDeleteSince I'm a big cat fanatic, I especially like your eye of the cheetah board. Perhaps, could you mix more cat print pictures in there?
ReplyDeletethe eye of the cheetah board is my favorite, the neutral tones are something that can be worn year round and fit all body types versus the neon
ReplyDeleteEye of a Cheetah is my pick for sure. Much more can be done with those tones without being too loud and it would interesting to see how u play with texture.
ReplyDeleteI'm with the crowd! Eye of the cheetah is my favorite, I love the eclectic use of neutrals.
ReplyDeleteOBSESSED with the neon! I love neon and I think that is a HUGE trend. You organized your boards so well, they are aesthetically pleasing and it is easy to understand your though process.
ReplyDeleteThe Eye of the Cheetah is super cool! I love that you went outside of the typical cheetah prints and chose more interesting fabrics with mixed prints and textures.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these boards really conveys your design aesthetic, they are very you. I feel like they complement each other and you can probably pull elements from both of them in a design. I think I prefer The Eye of the Cheetah, I love neon, but probably more as accents rather than a whole outfit, the muted colors speaks clearer to me. I'm loving the nude dress on that board hardcore.
ReplyDeleteI like both they are so you. I like best The Eye of the Cheetah. The colors are more elegant and they are used a lot more. And i think that the cheetah print is really sophisticated, and thats what more people like, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI like the first storyboard the best. The silhouettes are very appealing and go well with the nature/animal theme. Sometimes animal print can look cheap, but you make the prints look very elegant and wearable.
